Turtle USB Hub

Another cool gadget today folks! This turtle-looking like device is actually an USB Hub, he has one for each of his legs (yes that would be 4). But wait, there's more. Flip his shell and you'll find a little storage space, looks like an ashtray, but you can put a lot of tiny stuff there, the kind of stuff that usually gets lost: coins, keys, a chopstick and so on.
He looks so squishy, it's impossible not to like :)
And of course, the famous:

Barbie Spy Gadget

Well, not really a spy gadget but it could easily be used as one. I'm talking about the new Barbie Doll. Wait, what? Yes, it is a Barbie doll. This doll has a video camera incorporated and disguised as a necklace - very well disguised I may add. In the back of the doll you'll find a small LCD monitor, where you can watch your videos. You'll also get and USB cable of course, plus a video editing software. The doll can record up to 25 minutes of footage, enough to catch your cat eating the leftover pie, and thus proving to your entire family it wasn't you, it was Mittens all along.
Watch this awesome video for more information.

Remove IT Policy in BlackBerry

Some users have a BlackBerry which previously used to connect to BES and BlackBerry had been placed a restrictive IT Policy into it. Once the IT policy is enabled, you will not able to change certain settings, or install Third Party Applications.

This is common issue especially for those people bought BlackBerry on EBay and are unable to make changes to the settings or install Third Party Applications. A quick check to your IT Policy, just go to Options -> Status, then key in command code “buyr

There are many methods in the internet to remove IT policy, but no one is 100% guaranty successful. I found myself the following method is most workable with higher successful rate. So, please do not ask me for support if you have tried on my method but still not working.

Note: This method can only be used on a BlackBerry smartphone running OS 4.3 to 5.0. Following procedure will delete all data and applications on the BlackBerry smartphone. Please backup the data before performing this procedure.

• Make sure you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed into your computer.
• Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer (Windows XP).
Press Start > Run, type “CMD” to bring out Windows command prompt
• Navigate to the Apploader folder by typing cd C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Apploader and then pressing the Enter key.
• Type loader.exe /resettofactory
Enter you BlackBerry smartphone password if prompted.
• Wait until reset process is completed. Check the IT policy again.

Good luck and hope you can successfully remove IT policy.

Car Security System with Fingerprint

At first I thought "Cool, what James Bond movie is this from?". Well folks, it's no movie - this is a piece of technology that's available to everyone. Forget about thieves and worries that your car will be stolen: this gadget scans your fingerprint and only you (or the ones you've authorized) get to start your car's engine. You lost your car keys? Not to worry, the keys become useless in the wrong hands (and I mean that literally).
Plus, this device also functions as a car alarm system, sending you text messages whenever someone tries to force themselves into your car - you just have to install a GSM SIM card into it. Sounds so cool I almost can't believe it.

Keypad Lock in OS5

After upgrade the BlackBerry OS from Ver 4 to Ver 5, you may find that keypad lock function is no longer available. If you press and hold “A”, your BlackBerry phone will turned into standby mode instead of keypad lock. To wake up phone, you need to press the mute button at top left corner.

Here to share an idea to lock your BlackBerry with “Password Lock”
1. From the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options.
2. Click Password.
3. Set Password to “Enable
4. Click Change Password, then insert your password.
5. Display the menu and click Save.

Set convenience key to “password lock”
1. From the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options.
2. Click Screen/Keyboard.
3. Set Right / left side convenience key option to “Password lock
4. Display the menu and click Save.

To lock the keypad – just press convenience key
To unlock keypad – just key in your password then press enter

What about if you forget password?
Basically Blackberry smartphone allow user to key in password up to 10 times. If after 10 times user still unable to insert the correct password, then BlackBerry Smartphone will reset to factory default setting automatically and you will lost all the data in your Blackberry. No worry! your Blackberry still can function except all data are deleted only. It is to protect data being leak to other people. Therefore I would recommend you always backup your Blackbbery data via desktop manager.

Now here's what I call a "big boys" toy. If you're not an actual race car pilot, this is the closest you'll get to being one.
